One afternoon when I was 15 years old, I was browsing a bookshelf at WH Smith's and picked out 'The Little Book of Calm'. It was packed full of little tips on staying calm in the world that was becoming a little more frantic as technology was developing. I instantly became drawn to personal development and knew it was something I wanted to pass onto others.
A couple of years later I was introduced to a second book by Louise L Hay: 'You Can Heal Your Life' - a bestseller that changed mine. The idea behind it is that our ‘dis-eases’ are caused by thoughts - and so if our thoughts can be changed then so too can the ‘dis-ease’ (along with healthy living, of course). There's a list in it of different dis-eases, a probable cause for each, and a related affirmation to say. At the time I was suffering from headaches that were so awful I even had to walk out of an exam once. After visiting numerous doctors over 6 years and nothing working, it was this book that did the trick. My passion for passing on this revelation to others continued...
